It was 40 years ago today that our band, Crack, began to play... Well..., not really. As a matter of fact our story dates back to 1977, sometime in the autumn of that year. Or at least that was the point in time when I first started to hear about Crack.

An ex-schoolmate of mine from University, Mento Hevia, had contacted me. He was putting together a new band that he was sure would make a huge smash and he wanted me to be part of that great project! :-)

We did not have any money or any good contact whatsoever inside the music business, and of course we did not have either a proper equipment to give shape to our "brilliant" ideas.

But we had those "brilliant" musical ideas which we, probably quite pretentiously, regarded as quite unique for those days in our country.

So, it was with that the minimal non-economic capital that we would have to "conquer", and believe me we were very confident about it, the symphonic rock scene of the late seventies in Spain :-) Read all here
